On September 12^th, the meeting of 2015 freshmen and their parents was held in the school of chemistry and chemical engineering. The party secretary of the school Qian Jingfeng, vice dean Qian Xuefeng, and vice secretary Zheng Hao attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zheng Hao.

 Qian Xuefeng introduced the specific circumstances of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in terms of the school evolution, faculty and disciplines. He introduced the details of the talents training plan and showed the achievements obtained during the exploration of composite talents cultivation. He then interpreted the undergraduates training program and presented the details which should be paid attention to during the process of students’ cultivation. He hoped it will attract the attention of parents.

Qian Jingfeng shared the apperception of college life and put forward new requirements to the new students. He pointed out that the students must have their own duty and make good choices during the university life. The new students should be integrated into university life as soon as possible and win at the starting line.

The parents had got a deeper understanding of the school through this meeting and been clearer about the role need to play during the process of students’ growing up and laid great foundation for the collaborative cultivation of the students between university and family.
